"Why did you do it?" Jim Kirk finally asked after a long pregnancy of silence, staring at John Harrison in his glass cage inside the prison bay of the Enterprise. John Harrison didn't hesitate to answer why exactly he killed all those people on earth, knowing exactly what Jim was speaking about.
"I did it for my crew." Jim understood Harrison's answer, but it still didn't make it right as he had killed hundreds of innocent people, all for revenge. But it wasn't just for Khan's crew, oh no, he did it for a much more rooted reason, a reason he wasn't about to give as it would bring his weakness to light. A weakness that Admiral Marcus took total advantage of in the beginning, when he first woke Khan from his sleep to create the technology that would wipe out the enemy in the war Marcus wanted.
Now he wanted his revenge.
Khan loved his crew, his family. But he did it all for her, his love, his light in the darkness.

Artist Notes: I can't help it, I love pairing Rooney Mara & Benedict Cumberbatch together. Now no bashing as I am not a Trekkie, but I am a fan of the 2009-2013 Star Trek movies, so don't blame me if I do something incorrect to Khan's character. This is just an OC pairing as I love Benedict Cumberbatch. Who doesn't? Anyway I hope you enjoy the manip and the little information I've provided above.

i think that benedict cumberbatch is a great actor... but I don't agree with some of the things he has said (not looking at the "colored" scandale)
